Auckland to Puhoi Convoy – The Future Meets the Past
On Saturday 10th September EV owners will be meeting at the Charge Net NZ Premises at 4a Ride Way, Rosedale, North Shore for morning tea at 10.00 am (sponsored by Charge Net NZ) before leaving in convoy for Puhoi at 11.00 am.
Truly today the future will meet the past as the Puhoi pub is one of the last historical pubs left in the Southern hemisphere. The interior is filled with the remnants of past and present memorabilia and will fill you with nostalgia.
A great day out for EV owners and supporters (return seats available for non EV owners who would like to experience the ride)
We are aiming to have at least 20 vehicles in the convoy – RSVP on the Event so we can plan numbers, and let us know if you are bringing your own car or would like a "supporter" electric ride to Puhoi and back.
This event is organised by The Better NZ Trust who are working together with the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) to promote International Drive Electric Week in New Zealand.
EECA is promoting electric vehicles in New Zealand as part of the Government’s electric vehicles programme; EVs take advantage of New Zealand’s renewable electricity and create 80% fewer CO2 emissions than a petrol or diesel car
