WEDNESDAY 14 September, 11.30 AM - 2 PM
Following a successful event in April, Electric Vehicles are returning to the University on Wednesday, 14 September as part of International Drive Electric Week.
Electric vehicles (EVs) will be coming to the University of Waikato's Student Centre on Wednesday 14th September at 11:30am for display in the front of W Block, School of Graduate Research.
International Drive Electric Week is running from 10th to 18th September and events are being held all through New Zealand. The Centre for Environmental, Resources and Energy Law (CEREL) are supporting this initiative through this free event and would encourage all students and others to come and see what driving the future will be!
This event is organised by The Better NZ Trust who are working together with the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) to promote International Drive Electric Week in New Zealand.
EECA is promoting electric vehicles in New Zealand as part of the Government’s electric vehicles programme; EVs take advantage of New Zealand’s renewable electricity and create 80% fewer CO2 emissions than a petrol or diesel car
